Your journey is kept only on your phone. We do not have a copy of it, and nothing you write or answer is ever sent to us. To learn how the book is used, the app counts, without your name, which days and pages are opened and finished. You can turn that off.
What stays on your device
The 30 has no account and no sign-up. Everything the app remembers is stored only on your device:
- which days you have opened and completed;
- the answers you choose and the reflections and notes you write;
- your settings, such as language, appearance and reminder time.
We cannot see or recover any of it. If you delete the app or use “Reset this journey” in Settings, it is gone. It is not backed up by us or synced to another device.
Usage statistics
So we can see how many people begin The 30, how far they get, and where the book could be better, the app sends anonymous usage statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase. They describe how the app is used, never what you put into it:
- the screens and pages you open, such as “Day 4, the Scripture page”;
- when a day is opened, finished and sealed, how long its pages were open, and whether any page was turned past quickly;
- that you answered a question, saved a reflection or wrote a note, but never what you chose, wrote or answered;
- your settings: language, appearance and reminder time;
- the steps of starting The 30, and the use of “Continue from another day” or “Reset this journey”;
- that a reminder was opened, your notes were exported, a message was sent through “Write to us”, or a link on the About page was opened, but never what you exported or sent, or to whom.
Firebase also records standard information about the app and your device: the app version, the device model and operating system, the date and time, and a general location (country and city) that Google works out from your IP address and does not store. Each installation of the app gets a random ID so that its statistics can be counted together. It is not linked to your name, email address, phone number or anything you send through “Write to us”.
We do not collect your phone’s advertising ID, we do not use these statistics for advertising, and we do not sell them or use them to track you across other apps or websites. Google processes them for us under the Firebase data processing terms, and may store them outside your country. Google Analytics keeps them for a limited time and then deletes them; see Google’s data retention page.
To turn usage statistics off, open Settings in the app and switch off “Usage statistics”. The app then stops sending them at once and resets this installation’s random ID. On the web, the app also sends none if your browser has Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” turned on.
Daily reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device as a local notification. No push service is used, and the reminder’s words are never sent to us. Usage statistics, if they are on, note whether the reminder is on, which time you chose, and when you open the app from it.
Sharing your notes
You can export your own notes through your device’s share sheet. Where they go is your choice. The app sends them only to the app or person you pick.
What you choose to send us
The “Write to us” form is the only part of the app that sends us anything you wrote, and only when you press Send. It sends:
- what your message is about: a story of how The 30 has helped you, an offer to support this ministry, a request to find community, or something else;
- your name;
- an email address or phone number (optional when you share a story);
- your message;
- whether you gave us permission to share your story.
We use this only to read and reply to your message, and so that someone from our community can contact you if you asked. We share a story only if you turned on “You may share my story”, and then with your first name only, never your email address or phone number. It is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Only our team can read it, through Firebase’s administrator access. The app itself cannot read it back. As with any internet request, Google processes your device’s IP address to deliver the message. We do not store it with your submission.
We keep a submission only for as long as we need it to follow up with you. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- We never receive what you write, the answers you choose, or the note you seal for Day 30.
- We do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
- We do not link anything you send us to your usage statistics, and nothing in those statistics identifies you.
Children
The 30 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Your choices
You can use the whole app without sending us anything: switch off “Usage statistics” in Settings and do not use the “Write to us” form. To see, correct or delete anything you sent through the form, or to withdraw permission to share your story, email us at the address below. Usage statistics are not tied to your name, so we cannot find yours in them. Switching them off resets the app’s random ID, and deleting the app removes it.
Links to our church
The “About The 30” page links to our church’s website, social media pages and a map. They open in your browser or in those apps only when you tap them, and those services have their own privacy policies. The app itself sends nothing when you open one.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.

Walang account ang The 30.
Walang ads at walang tracking. Para ipabura ang ipinadala mo, mag-email sa johnmichaeldegojas@gmail.com.
